As an ex-procrastinator, I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and annoyed at your own inconsistency.
To live on autopilot; simply going through the motions. I know it well because I was there, for years! I felt so stuck, lost and disappointed in myself.
Lady, let me tell you, I went for all the self-help quick fixes I could possibly get my hands on – from books to relaxation apps and online courses – but I still felt disconnected. You see, I saw my ‘problems’ as surface level and was trying to ‘fix’ them with surface level solutions.
This is the reason many of us go wrong; this is also the reason why coaching is incredibly effective!
You see, my focus was on the problem - the weight, the anxiety, the procrastination – paired up
with the solution (well, what I thought was the solution) – salads, breathing and a to-do list.
Coaching came and rocked my world at 26 [in a good way!], shifting my perspective. Let’s put the problem and the solution on pause for a sec – how about we look at what established or
contributed to the problem in the first place?
Before long, it became clear that my issues - the poor sleep schedule, the sweet treats, the procrastination, the lack of routine – all of these things I struggled with were just the result of unprocessed emotions + poor belief systems I was carrying with me.
It took a breakdown at 24 for me to realise that I had some deeper shit to deal with that needed unpicking. I jumped on the coaching train, skeptical and uncertain. Let's just say, it started a revolution inside me!
I learned to appreciate that my procrastination could not be solved with a YouTube video and my poor habits could not be solved with a planner. I needed to go deeper and sort things from the inside out. Was it uncomfortable? You bet. Was it worth it? Heck yes!
After years of being inconsistent, not being able to stick to routines or promises and feeling trapped inside my own head, I was able to break the cycle and truly change my life. I felt so inspired by my own progress; I said goodbye to teaching and hello to coaching. It changed my life and what better way to spend my days than to help women to do the same.
I recognised my triggers, made sense of my patterns of behavior and learned to honor to my
emotions with gentleness.
I walked away from things, people, thoughts and situations that no longer served me. I went from being THE procrastination queen to living a productive and habit driven life. I quit eating rubbish food, started exercising and took steps to slowly transition into wellness.
And, most importantly, I began to appreciate that the story I created in my mind didn’t have to become my reality -my past did not have to be my future. I owned my shit and realised I that I have a choice, an opportunity to rewrite my story. How grateful I am for the gift of coaching.
This process encouraged me to show up for myself, to take responsibility, to heal and to appreciate that it boils down to choice. I became the woman who decided she was done. The woman who chose herself, even when she didn’t feel deserving of it at the time.
Born and raised in Sydney, I headed to London for what was supposed to be a 1 year working holiday. 9 years and a husband later, I’m still here!
Before becoming a coach, I was a Primary School teacher and was always labelled as the ‘funny’ teacher. I wore that badge with honor!
I have 3 cats – Warren, Sheila + Sharon – that are my world. My feline obsession can be seen all over my home – from pens, to notebooks and decor.
I truly love all things nature - my dream is to live in a rural area surrounded by beautiful views and greenery. I’m that person that watches garden makeover shows on the telly!
I have a sweet tooth – Ice cream, cake and pastries are my absolute fave. The best part of making a cake is licking the bowl.
5 Reasons I am NOT the Coach for you
My coaching process does not involve surface level quick-fixes. I go deep and excavate the real reasons behind your thoughts, actions and behaviours. Together, we will look beyond the excuses and discover what’s underneath it all. You will receive straight up honesty from me, as we dig into the real reasons that are holding you back and getting in your way.
I will push you to show up for yourself and keep you accountable when you say you will do/not do something. Expect regular check-ins from me. I know it’s hard to stick to things and sometimes the simplest things can seem mountainous. Know that as your coach, I’ll be right there cheering you on as I teach you how to follow through with things.
I don’t edit myself. I am passionate about the coaching process and bring that energy into our sessions. I sometimes swear during coaching and have been known to belly laugh in-session too. I keep it real, you will receive 100% authentic Sueha.
My coaching takes on a structured, yet flexible approach. The process is moulded to you and your needs, alongside coaching tools and techniques. You will have small homework tasks to complete each week – this is designed, so as to encourage growth and promote transformation.
I’m human too! I’m not immune to bad days or moments of struggle. Some days, I don’t want to adult - I’d much rather watch Netflix, eat ice-cream and avoid feelings of self-doubt. Other days, I’m taken aback by my strength and commitment to bettering myself. I am someone who has worked hard to ensure majority of my days are the latter and I am committed to supporting you to ensure yours are too.
